POLICIES
Admission
Admission to St. Joseph
Catholic School shall be determined by the pastor and the principal in
accordance with Diocesan policies. Nondiscriminatory
Policy
St. Joseph Catholic
School admits students of any race, color, religion, national and ethnic
origin to all the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally
accorded or made available to students at the school. The school does
not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, age, or national
and ethnic origin in the administration of its educational, admission
, or scholarship policies, nor any other school administered programs.
Age of Admission
Kindergarten: A pupil
entering Kindergarten must be five years old on or before December 1
of that year.
Testing
All incoming students
are tested in order to verify basic skills and to determine placement.
Testing is held at the school at scheduled times. In addition, students
entering school during the school year are expected to spend at least
one day in school after which placement is determined.
Conditions of Admission
No student shall be
admitted to St. Joseph Catholic School unless there is clear indication
of the ability to function successfully. In doubtful cases, students
may be admitted on a probationary basis with dates and criteria of evaluation
clearly established in writing.
Required Records
It is the responsibility
of parents applying for the admission of their child to St. Joseph Catholic
School to supply the following verification of records. No student
will be admitted unless verification is complete.

$50.00 per student
