Dr.Joseph Pigg is a full time doctor of chiropractic in Campbell. On his day off, he directs the St. Joseph School choir for rehearsals, school mass, and for the annual chorale festival. In choir, he strives to teach how our Catholic ideals and faith are reflected in the songs we sing for church. He attended St. Justin Elementary School in Santa Clara and St. Francis High School excelling in the music program. He went to University of the Pacific on a music scholarship/grant for French Horn performance. While there, he was a also a member of the highest-level university chorus. During college, he decided to pursue a career in chiropractic and switched to pre-med classes while continuing to perform in the university orchestra and chorus.
After becoming a chiropractor, he continued music by joining the Barbershop Harmony Society and was a member of a competitive barbershop quartet for 5 years until discontinuing the group to make time for his two young boys; both currently attending St. Joseph school. During his spare time, he enjoys arranging music for the choir, photography, road-biking, and he enjoys reading about and watching documentaries on quantum/theoretical physics and cosmology.
